I had so much fun getting to know Marie and Be bop.
After working with Marie, I want her as my creative director. She’s very imaginative and it was fun to try her visions. The engagement shoot was at the Walker Art Center during winter. I cannot take full credit for the engagement photos because Marie had so many of her own ideas! They were up for pose suggestions and giggling a lot of the time. A snowfall during the shoot made their photos simply beautiful. It was so much fun shooting with them.
Their wedding turned out exactly as she imagined. I was very impressed with how innovative and beautiful everything was. I couldn’t tell the difference between the page of pins on her Pinterest and the actual wedding. Down to the last stitch, she had everything she wanted. My favorite idea of hers was a red carpet photo booth! The father-daughter dance was not your typical dance; the two of them threw out the old slow dance and sped things up a bit. The mother-son dance was to Cupid Shuffle and halfway through the song, family started joining in. It was a great start to a night of dancing.
