What a great afternoon at AGC Talks yesterday!
This event brought together an incredible group of professionals focused on something we all need more of--intentional connection and work-life balance. The talk from Playfessionals was a great reminder that networking doesn’t have to feel transactional. When we build real community and surround ourselves with people and businesses we genuinely enjoy, both our careers and our personal lives benefit. AGC Talks always does a great job creating space for meaningful conversations, with time to connect before and after a TED-style talk that leaves you thinking. And the setting at Brick x Mortar in the Minneapolis Warehouse District was the perfect backdrop—beautiful views, great energy, and a room full of inspiring people. I’m always grateful to be part of spaces where people come together to listen, share ideas, and support each other’s growth.

A New Family-Friendly Barbershop in Saint Francis, MN — Meet Peter
There’s something really special happening in Saint Francis — a brand new family-friendly barbershop built on connection, community, and helping people feel confident when they walk out the door. Recently, I had the chance to photograph Peter, the owner and barber behind this welcoming new space — and even more special, I got to document my own husband and baby experiencing a dad haircut together. And let me tell you… it was the sweetest thing. I photographed an AGC event in Minneapolis at Brick x Mortar—a morning full of real conversation, connection, and community. These events remind me that networking is about showing up and genuinely connecting with people, not just swapping business cards.
I had the chance to photograph the Edina Realty Circle Awards 2026, a morning award ceremony celebrating agents for the work they put in all year. The focus was clean, professional award portraits that highlight each person and their achievement.
Photographing your 46th birthday was such an honor—and let’s be real, you are STUNNING. Confidence looks so good on you.
I’ve loved getting to know you and your family over the years, from your wedding day to so many meaningful moments since. Sessions like this are exactly why I believe women of all ages—especially moms—should do photoshoots. Not for anyone else, but to feel powerful, beautiful, and fully seen. Because the baddie doesn’t disappear with age… she evolves. you can lock in 26% off any 2026 photo session by paying your deposit during the month of January. This applies to any session type—family, portraits, branding, seniors, or creative shoots—and any date in 2026. It’s a great way to plan ahead and secure your session at a meaningful savings.
Every once in a while, I open up my photo studio in Northeast Minneapolis for something a little different — and a lot of fun.
It’s called Open Studio, and here’s how it works: I set the scene with a new backdrop or setup (think cool props, bold colors, maybe even a theme), and you just pop in for a mini photo session. The best part? It’s Pay What You Can — seriously. Whether it’s $20 or $100, you’re welcome. These casual drop-in sessions are perfect for:
🎈 When’s the next one? Keep an eye on my Instagram or subscribe to my email list — I announce the next Open Studio date there first! Come solo, bring a friend, or surprise someone with a spontaneous shoot. It’s easy, relaxed, and a great way to capture the moment — whatever that moment might be. Hope to see you in front of the lens soon ✨ – Britleigh They say couples that laugh together, stay together—and these two are living proof. Nothing beats a couple who enjoys being around each other like Cindy & Trent.
