I was honored to document Kaitlyn Ferguson and Scott Forester’s wedding. Kaitlyn found me on the Wedding Channel/The Knot. We met for coffee and chatted so long that we shut the coffee shop down. Kaitlyn now helps out with my annual clothing exchanges and is one of my vendors, a wedding officiant . She will also write blogs (found here) about the great deals you can find for your wedding on a budget; she found some hidden gems that she would like to share with other brides-to-be. Kaitlyn and Scott’s wedding was beautiful, laid-back, and filled with love. The mothers of the bride and groom looked beautiful in purple lace dresses. It was a very special day because it was Kaitlyn’s parents' (Debbie and Patrick) wedding anniversary too. The bridesmaids rocked gray dresses and rocked it they did! Kaitlyn’s sister Allison was the maid of honor and her daughter Emma was the best flower girl a bride could ask for. Emma had a serious case of the cutes. She didn't complain or whine and was always camera ready with her giant 3-year-old grin. Kristin was a bridesmaid and a good friend of Kaitlyn's. I caught many photos of them just giggling and making faces at each other. Stephanie, the sister of the groom, was the third bridesmaid and looked like a mini Marilyn Monroe. The groomsmen looked very handsome and were not camera shy. The best man was Scott’s brother, Sean. The groomsmen, Dave and Matthew, are running friends of Scott's. They were all goofy and ready to do outrageous poses. Their family and friends were a very lively bunch. When the music started, people were dancing before the dance floor was even set up! When the dance floor was ready, a crowd of partiers came to dance. Grandparents, parents, teenagers, children, and toddlers were on the dance floor. It was by far the best dance floor I have seen! I had a great time shooting Kaitlyn and Scott’s wedding and getting to know them and their family. Cheers to a great future!
