So you are engaged? Now you want to get in shape and get healthy! For some of you growing out your hair for your wedding day is a must. If you are looking to grow your hair out for you wedding day, I have some tips and tricks for you to do. For most of you it might be hard to do but-- save the heat for the wedding day! Don’t use any heat on your hair!!! -- hair dryers, curling irons, straighteners, etc. Your hair will look healthy and break less-- Every time you apply heat to your hair, you evaporate tiles on your hair that crack and break off which causes you to lose body. If you have unmanageable hair (like most people) you can try different types of braids instead of curling and straightening. You can braid it when it is wet and wear a cute braid for one day and the next day take it out and wear your hair in waves. Try different types of braids and get in the habit or not having to heat your hair in order to go out and look good. If you can do that then you are one step closer to healthy long hair! Another thing that I recommend is getting a lot of Biotin in your diet. Biotin is a vitamin of the B complex, found in egg yolk, liver, and yeast. It is involved in the synthesis of fatty acids and glucose. You can buy Biotin vitamin supplements at the store and take them with caution. I recommend eating avocados and eggs on a regular to get the healthy hair you desire on your wedding day. Heck, even if you're not getting married-- who doesn't love beautiful and healthy hair!
